New year is traditionally a time to review where you are. A time to see if there are changes you can make in your life for the better. Well All Seasons Philipburn is no different. We have decided that we should take advantage of facilities we already have. We are adopting a new menu which will be offering authentic Italian cuisine. Our chef is passionate about cooking. He is also an Italian who is passionate about his roots, gastronomically that is! “No British-Italian” he says. “I will do authentic Italian cuisne with the best ingredients”. No argument there!
It all sounds really exciting! It means Selkirk will now have something else different to choose from when deciding where to dine.
The food will be accompanied by a range of Italian wines as well. These have been carefully selected and will hopefully enhance the food. Of course we shall still carry our range of interesting wines from other parts of the world.
One of the nice things about Italian food, and similar in context to Spanish food, are the aperivitos. This is the Italian equivalent to tapas. These are small dishes which provide considerable variety. They are ideal as snacks to nibble with your drinks or make a meal of them. Not only are they delicious but you have just as much as you need. It can make a very economical meal if you only want small quantities and moreover you can just keep going back for more if you are hungry.
Of course you will be able to get pizzas as well and these will be available to take out.
So if you want authentic Italian cuisine, best come and try The Three Cairns Restaurant at the Philipburn. This is also going to be good for families – after all whose kids don’t like a pizza? The new menu comes on line in the first week of January.
