First Scotch Whisky Distillery in Borders since 1837

The Borders Distillery is the first Scotch Whisky Distillery in the Scottish Borders since 1837. Located in the centre of Hawick, a town steeped in history and heritage, known for its luxury knitwear production and as the "Home of Tweed', it is housed in fully restored Victorian industrial buildings. The tours are led by the distillers themselves and run three times a day Monday to Sunday. The shop is open from 10am to 4.30pm. Tours are fully accessible and are limited to 12 people per tour.
