The Philipburn was a Best Western Hotel of the Year finalist for 2023. In a surprise moment at the Best Western awards at their annual conference in Newport, the Philipburn was in the top three contenders.
Best Western, in broad terms, is an organisation which fronts independent hotels at varying levels. There are some 275 BW hotels in the UK.
The Hotel of the Year award is the last of a long list of recognitions in the Best Western portfolio. It is of course the ultimate recognition. Out of some 275 hotels in the brand in the UK this is no mean achievement.
