Our menu is served in the Three Cairns Restaurant and Bar 1751, a place of elegance and class with cut glass and fine cutlery. Enjoy our diverse selection of wines from across the world designed to complement our food.

Our dining areas offer a variety of seating options; there are more formal areas and areas more suited to familes and even a section where diners may have their dogs with them.

In order to accommodate those on a budget, we have a three course table d’hôte menu for £25. This is made up of a selection of the dishes from our à la carte menu and is designed to provide an interesting and wholesome meal at an affordable price.

Bar 1751 is a civilised place to sit back and enjoy a drink, whether one our of fine draught ales or a fine wine or a tempting malt whisky. Imagine yourself in the comfort of a one-time stately country home. And yet the rooms are so versatile that they can be changed around to suit all different occasions, whether just for drinking or perhaps for a family dinner.

Join us every Sunday in our Three Cairns restaurant for our 3-course table d’hôte menu, featuring principally a traditional Sunday roast for all the family. Our menu offers a selection of starters, followed by a choice of main courses which includes a roast on a Sunday (including a vegetarian option), and range of delicious desserts that are sure to tempt you.

We pride ourselves on our traditional Sunday lunch – come and enjoy it with us. But be sure to book well in advance.

Every night is Steak Night at the Philipburn. We serve cuts of carefully sourced British beef with delicious sides and classic steak sauces, all cooked as you like them. A selection of delicious wines is available to complement them.

The Three Cairns breakfast is simply to die for. We know that when you leave a hotel, breakfast is probably the last main event of your stay and the one which will remain uppermost in your mind. So we want our breakfast to be excellent. So choose from our extensive menu starting with fruit juices, porridge or cereals, continental options or a range of cooked options to make your mouth water. In particular our eggs are all cooked fresh and to your specification. If you hungry, just have some more! We guarantee you will not be disappointed.

The range of drinks made world-wide today is vast and of course it is impossible to carry everything. However we do believe that customers want variety and our drinks list is on the increase all the time with new items, especially wines. Our house wines at £19.95 for a bottle and servable by the glass are really excellent value for money – and all checked by the management!
